Turkey earthquake: At least 270 people died at a 7.2 scale of earthquake

Turkey earthquake event has been getting measurable condition with the span of time. In near, Van at Turkey rescue efforts is being continued at a great extent as a 7.2 magnitude earthquake had occurred there. Sources said that they fear to raise the number of death people at the earthquake. There are lots of people who are being wounded at the earthquake. The numbers of people who are being injured are at least 1,000 or more than that.


Turkey earthquake occurred at Sunday evening at a powerful strike. According to Interior Minister of Turkey Idris Naim Sahin, there killed hundreds of people the dimension of the earthquake was 7.2 rector scales.

Hundreds of people were crying at there for help under the rubble. Hundreds of rescue teams worked during the night penetrating for survivors among buildings, as support groups tousled to set up tents, field hospitals.

Zulfukar Arapoglu, mayor of Ercis, told that, "A lot of buildings collapsed, lots of people were killed, but we don't know the exact numeral. We are waiting for urgent help, it's very vital,"
He also said, "We need tents urgently and save teams. We don't have any ambulances, and we only have one hospital. We have many killed and injured."
Even though the earthquake apparently affected the provinces of Diyarbakir and Erzurum, residents living in the capital cities of those provinces told that they felt nothing when it happened.
